This weekend I washed my car, got my hair cut, shaved, trimmed my body hair, exercised, had a massage and dressed up. And you know what happened to me?

It made me feel so incredibly good about myself.

This week we will talk about what you can do to feel good about yourself, because when you love yourself you give other people the opportunity to do the same. It is hard to attract your dream partner, have great friends or land that big deal if you don't feel good about yourself.

In todays post we will cover the external parts that can affect our happiness and on thursday I will share my thoughts on how you can work with yourself internally to love yourself.

I know you are a busy person so lets cut to the chase.

What can you really do to feel good about yourself?

First of all let me tell you why I am writing this. My goal for you (and myself) is to become a master of life.

That leads to the question:
What is a master of life?

My definition of a master of life:
"A person that feels that he/she is successful in all parts of life and have a balance between the areas of Health, Money, Personal Goals, Relationships and the Social aspects of life."

I don't care how other people define success the most important thing is that you feel successful and that is something that only you can decide.

For some people success is earning a million dollars, for others its ten million and for others it is to be healthy, It is up to you but be honest to yourself and choose yourself instead of being affected by how society value success.

External Things To Do To Feel Good About Yourself

Funny enough a lot of these things are traits that my father and grandfather used to teach me (both very successful in their fields).

  • Excersice
There is something special about exercising that makes you feel good about yourself.
  • Shave (goes for girls too)
Shave and trim your body hair guys and girls, it looks good and also makes you feel sexier and better about yourself.
  • Care for your hair
Don't forget to cut your hair regularly and use hair products that takes care of your hair.
  • Fresh underwear and socks
When did you last buy underwear? Maybe its time to update your wardrobe with some new underwear.
  • Smell good
Make sure to shower everyday and use a perfume that you like (but don't use to much)
  • Clean clothes
Wear clothes that you feel good about wearing and at the same type fits your personality and body shape (don't forget to wash them).
  • Fresh breath
Brush your teeths, go to the dentist often and use chewing gums.
  • Smile
A person that smiles shows confidence and it also makes other people smile (WIN-WIN).
  • Stand tall
Take a deep breath and straighten you back, it shows confidence and that you are comfortable with yourself.

How many of these traits do you practice on a daily basis? Give it a try, it works for me and I am almost certain that it will work for you!

On thursday we will cover how you can work with your mental attitude to feel good about yourself.
