“The true test of a man’s character is what he does when no one is watching.”
OK, so let's be honest here. You want the good life, I want the good life, everybody wants the good life. And everyone can have the good life but far from everyone will have the good life.
Why is that? The questions is hard but the answer simple: Effort Most people are just to lazy to really, and I mean really put in the effort it takes to master a skill. And that makes me sad, especially if you are a person that comes from a good upbringing and have all the resources except your own willpower. So you want to be a millionaire or have six pack abs or start your own company? Or maybe you want all of it. It is there for you to take but you have to be willing to put in the effort it takes to actually become that hard working (and smart working) person. That's why I love famous coach John Woodens quote: “The true test of a man’s character is what he does when no one is watching.” Lets think about it. What are you doing when no one is watching? Are you willing to wake up before the rest of the world, are you willing to work late nights, are you willing to educate yourself to become a master at your skill? If not, don't waste your time reading this post. But if you are ready to become your dreams and work hard and smart for what you want, you have come to the right place. Keep reading today I will challenge you (in a fun and motivating way) to become closer to the best you.
Effort is important, but first comes passion. If there is no passion there is no motivation to put in the effort it takes.
What are you passionate about? What are you willing to do all day for free (or even pay for)? One of my biggest passions since I was 6 years old has been karate, expect for the first few months when I first went to training with my father. I undressed the karate uniform and ran out of class naked. But things changed and my passion grew. My passion grew so strong that I was willing to train hard every day until I became really good (despite my lack of talent). In the beginning I was really bad, but my passion, effort and patience outgrew my competition and I managed to become a national champion 8 times and even win a bronze medal at the 2012 Shotokan World Championship. That was 90% effort and only 10% talent. If I can, you can! It is all about your effort. The Challenge
Today I am going to challenge you.
